The Art of the Cozy Sunday
There is something sacred about a Sunday that is entirely yours. No alarms, no emails, no obligations other than to exist in the softest way possible.
It starts with the light. On Sundays, even the sun seems to move slower across the floorboards. I like to wake up naturally, usually around 8, and pad to the kitchen in my wool socks. The kettle whistling is the only music I need.
Setting the Scene
A cozy Sunday isn't just about what you do; it's about the atmosphere you curate. I always light a candle (currently loving tobacco and vanilla scents) before I even open my book.
"A Sunday well spent brings a week of content."
What I'm Reading
Currently working my way through The Secret History for the third time. There's something about the autumn atmosphere that demands I return to Hampden College.
